"COL-CEMCA has found a new partner in PSD for developing a series of open and distance learning resources as well as online-based self-learning material for building the capacity of India’s physical educators for preparing our young students as leaders of tomorrow. It is with utmost delight I see this emerging partnership resulting in a long-term collaboration towards implementing the Indian National Education Policy 2020 for years to come."
"UNESCO’s Office in New Delhi has worked closely with Pro Sport Development on our Sports for Development programming and commissioned them to produce ‘More Than a Game’, an exploratory study examining the impact of COVID-19 on the use of sports for social good across the country. This important work has served as a baseline for the launch of UNESCO’s flagship ‘Fit for Life’ initiative in the country. PSD proved to be a knowledgeable and grounded partner for this engagement, listening carefully to the voices of many different stakeholders working across the sports ecosystem in the country and consolidating their insights into strong, forward-looking conclusions and recommendations. It has been a pleasure to work with them on this project.”
"PSD has been a gold standard partner for KickOff Solutions, a nonprofit platform integrating Sports-for-Development nonprofits to promote underprivileged girl leaders as role models & changemakers. There are three key areas where I feel PSD is special, and we're thankful for them:
- Collaborative intent: PSD can boast of a rare culture that is devoid of insecurity, where everyone across leadership and team-members seem to be keen to both share and learn with intent.
- Respectfulness among each other, and with beneficiary girls and stakeholders: Whether it's Bhakta-ji while conducting a coaching session or Akash-ji when attending a program with the girls, the attention to the needs of others, particularly the girls' voices and considerations like safety & relevance, the sense of mutual respect is extraordinary!
- Documentation with focus on results & stories: Very few organizations we know lend themselves to the level of self-driven discipline around caring to document & share program developments and stories like PSD does, and we've been naturally delighted with this process."
“PSD has been a partner of Girls Not Brides (GNB) since 2019. Initially, we worked together to organize a South Asia consultation on using a sports for development approach to end child early and forced marriage. Thereafter, PSD trained 100 youth grassroots practitioners from member organizations of GNB in three states of India.”
PSD’s innovative techniques ensured that the training and tools were well received by the participants. PSD ensured that grassroots practitioners could implement the new learning with the creation of an excellent handbook. PSD’s intervention was strategic, youth focused and included theory as well as practical sports-based activities. We found the entire team at PSD to be passionate about their work and very open to co-creation and collaboration!”
“हमारी पार्टनरशिप बहुत मीनिंगफुल रही है। खासकर खेल के मैदान में हो या वर्कशॉप में, फुटबॉल खेल रही लड़कियों ने खेल का जुडाव अपने जीवन के साथ करना सीखा है। लड़कियां अब अपनी भावनाओं और व्यवहार पर बेहतर नियंत्रण कर पा रही हैं।”
“It has been a pleasure working with PSD – they have supported our communications and helped us amplify the messaging of our International Platform on Sport and Development. They have been professional and personable, and easy to engage. We have enjoyed partnering with them and recommend them to others working in sport and development.”
“Laureus worked with Pro Sport Development (PSD) on a piece of research to scope suitable communities in Delhi for a programme we were looking to implement in Delhi. PSD were professional, on time with their delivery, and very knowledgeable about the sport for the development sector in their local area and the communities within Delhi. It was a pleasure to work with them on this research, and would recommend them highly.”
“We have had the pleasure of working alongside PSD for two years, and it's been an enriching experience. They are a truly professional organization committed to empowering young people. Their commitment to child safety is exemplary. PSD's groundbreaking safeguarding policy educates both trainers and athletes, fostering a culture of awareness and mutual respect. This comprehensive approach ensures a positive and secure environment where young people can thrive.”
“Working with PSD over the past year has been a real pleasure. Their expertise, sector reputation, and approachable team have made them invaluable partners. The connections and insights they provided have been instrumental in helping Upshot explore the Indian market, laying strong foundations for our mission to enable organisations to collect data easily and evidence their impact.”
"Collaborating with PSD on the Diversity and Inclusion Handbook for World Table Tennis Day 2024–2025 has been a truly enriching experience. Their professionalism and creativity ensured that diversity and inclusion concepts were not only well-presented but also adapted to different cultural and country contexts, making the resource relevant and impactful for our global community."
"Our collaboration with PSD over the past year has been grounded in shared values, mutual respect, and a joint commitment to community-driven development. Through their involvement in the Girls Positive and Safe Coaching Pathway, PSD has demonstrated strong alignment with the principles of TAFISA’s Mission 2030 - particularly in advancing equity, inclusion, and safe environments for girls and young people in sport. Their professionalism, contextual understanding, and focus on tangible, sustainable impact have made them a valued partner and member of the TAFISA network. I look forward to continuing our collaboration in pursuit of our shared vision."
“With many grassroots organizations working in the Sports for Development sector, PSD stands out because they have created a structured curriculum which is goal specific and impact driven.”
